Objectives

1. Map an end-to-end process with a standard notation and identify the main sources of waste and handoffs.
2. Measure process performance and calculate baseline metrics (cycle time, lead time, throughput, error rate).
3. Design a future-state workflow that defines roles, handoffs, SLAs, and simple error-proofing.
4. Evaluate and scope straightforward automation or tooling opportunities and estimate their ROI and implementation risk.
5. Produce a 90-day improvement plan with governance, KPIs, a pilot approach, and an internal communication checklist.
